Psoriasis: Auspitz Sign

By removing the scale on the surface of the lesion, bleeding happens.
The pinpoint bleeding comes from the rupturing of small vessels.
These small vessels are located in the dermal papillae which are elongated in psoriasis (papillomatosis).
